"Szczecin's Royal Ascot with painting." (1)

Lucas Lucaprio (Łukasz to us) invited us to his next art opening. This time it took place in the extraordinary surroundings of the Manowce Palace.

The uniqueness of this environment is the wonderful location of the palace on the Szczecin Lagoon, surrounded by a dense forest, far from "civilization" - in Trzebieradz (until 1945 in German: Horst Försterei).

It is a forest settlement in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the Police County, Nowe Warpno Commune, approximately 2 km north-east of Brzózki.

Łukasz chose this place for his ceremony because, according to the owners, the palace is not an ordinary restaurant or hotel, but a place of cultural events*.

Today I'm starting a series of entries titled "Szczecin's Royal Ascot** with painting."

*Manowce is a historic property near Szczecin, picturesquely situated on the very shore of the Szczecin Lagoon, surrounded by a vast forest, far from the nearest village. Despite this isolation, from the palace you can get to the center of Szczecin in just 45 minutes and to the Szczecin airport in Goleniów in 1.5 hours.

The palace is a perfect combination of old and new. You can find there not only old furniture and paintings, but also modern equipment, including exclusive bathrooms, comfortable beds and Wi-Fi. We organize weddings and family receptions, as well as meetings and corporate events. Guests receive the booked facility exclusively. We provide: 3 apartments, 13 guest rooms, 5 rooms for common use, rooms for receptions and company meetings, as well as gardens where we can host up to 100 people in the tent hall.

Pałac Manowce is not a hotel or restaurant. We conduct cultural activities. We make the facility available to tourists for sightseeing after prior arrangement.

**Ascot is famous for the Royal Ascot Racecourse horse races held here. (…) The event is an important British social event: it is an opportunity to present the latest creations and - often extremely fancy - women's hats, and is usually widely commented on in the British media.
