The third theatre encounter - in the afternoon
RAMPA THEATRE at TARGÓWEK
Swirling sex. Polish love story.
The theatre about its spectacle:
"36 years after the film's premiere, we return to the dance floor to tell an original story inspired by the characters, music and atmosphere of "Dirty dancing".
A long time ago, before the invention of the Internet, Netflix and Tinder, a film unlike any other was created. A film that, instead of being about wars and violence, told about tenderness and dance. It transformed teenagers into flying princesses, and ordinary dance parties into crazy dance competitions.
The film "Wirujący seks" is considered the worst translated title of all time. To this day, the Polish title evokes extreme feelings, just like the film itself, which, despite initial criticism, has been igniting the senses, provoking and moving to tears for 4 decades.
The characters Mania and Henryk dream of their wedding being exceptional. The family preparations for the ceremony cause pre-wedding stress. The hit The event is to be the bride's first dance inspired by the bride's favorite movie - Dirty Dancing. A new dance instructor, Patryk, who looks strikingly like Patrick Swayze, appears as a replacement at the dance rehearsal. The pieces of the perfectly planned puzzle start to fall apart, giving way to outbursts of suppressed passion and emotional dilemmas. The characters, experiencing dance liberation, will be forced to choose between romance and cynicism, professionalism and desire, reason and the impulse of the heart.
Will they be able to find themselves, go beyond the patterns and create their own version of the film fantasy?
Can "Swirling Sex" still spark a revolution in contemporary Poland?
We invite you to a dance and music odyssey to a world full of humor, fantasy and love."

An excellent performance, in which all the above-mentioned artists demonstrated perfect teamwork: in singing and dancing.
The soloists are already musical stars. In the role of Patryk, Maciej Pawlak. He is an excellent soloist - dancer and singer, in no way inferior to his original - Patrick Swayze.
Karolina Gwóźdź in the role of Mania (originally Jennifer Gray) sang perfectly and delighted with her dancing.
It was over two hours of good fun and satisfaction that Polish musicals can match those from around the world!
The music was captivating, and the saxophone and live trumpet complemented the musical experience!!
