Friday theatre evening

The first theatre event will take place at the Polish Theatre, which has been operating in the centre of Poznań since 1875.

The performance "Delivery Heroes. Takeaway Heroes" looks very promising! Although not in this beautiful hall...

We will be in the theatre's small stage hall - "Malarnia" which was opened in the mid-1980s, when it underwent a thorough modernisation. The stage space, auditorium, foyer and technical facilities have been completely rebuilt. The audience can accommodate 100 people.

Delivery Heroes. Takeaway Heroes

The theatre's website says:

"Delivery Heroes. Takeaway Heroes" is a performance focused on the experience of being a courier - a food delivery person and the relationships between users and employees of an application offering product delivery services to customers directly to their doors. (...)

The couriers are drawn into a crazy challenge. (…)

The couriers’ perspective highlights a much broader social context and is a starting point for asking questions about the way we all use applications designed for us. Questions about working conditions, the social status of people working for digital giants. Questions about economic conditions, and thus about the realities of life in the conditions of transnational, cybernetic capitalism, in which the employer or client is not a natural person or a legal person, but a phantom in the form of an algorithm.”
