The May week in Crete ended with a cloudy but hot day. With the forecast that hot days are coming over Crete.
We're flying away to cooler Poland!!
We say goodbye to the nice staff people and go to the airport in Chania, which is located on the hills, on a headland jutting out into the sea. The views are extraordinary: from the road you can see a beautiful bay, and in the distance the snow-capped peaks of high mountains.
The sky over Greece was overcast - hence I only took a few shots right after take-off.
Then a surprise: a cloudless sky is over Poland, and below there are amazing patterns of cultivated fields. Rapeseed in ribbon-wide beds looked picturesque.
An interesting fact about this trip was that on both routes to and from Chania, as well as from Warsaw to Szczecin we had exceptionally comfortable seats on the aircraft. It was almost Business Class, but without the service at that level!
