A glance at the nearby province

Across the Tonle Sap River, on which Phnom Penh lies, the true landscape of the province begins. Poor farms, some neglected, their inhabitants seem to be busy with indefinite something. But they still spend most of their time eating.

And this can happen anywhere, at any time, with just the phone put aside.

I haven't seen anyone aged 2 to 80+ not staring at a screen. Small children sprawled on the ground are also clicking away. And that's probably their best and only entertainment.

It wasn't a particularly interesting trip today, because firstly, we know the area from previous visits, and secondly, we refused to take pictures of the plastic bags hanging on hooks containing caught snakes of various sizes.

The Chinese are the main consumers of these animals.

Another barbarity in nature perpetrated by humans.
