Escape from the heat - to Latvia!
Where to escape the June heat in Central Europe?
After more than two weeks of sweltering heat, we're traveling through one of the Baltic states – Latvia.

From Szczecin, via Warsaw, after less than five hours of travel, we arrived in Riga and at our rented apartment at 2 a.m.
Our apartment is located in the very center of the Old Town, making it easy to walk everywhere.
The temperature today didn't exceed 22 degrees Celsius, and it was quite windy, and at times quite cloudy.
We started at the Central Market, which has four large interconnected halls. Inside, you'll find everything you could possibly want!

We checked out the food section, where you can find local food and cuisines from all over Europe. And the prices are more affordable here than in the restaurants in the Old Town.
At the market, you can see that fruit is more expensive than in Poland, or rather, everything is more expensive here, and Lithuanians' incomes are lower than Poles'!

In the photo couldberry (lācene in latvian), about which it is worth reading in the Internet.
The beer, although expensive, allowed our legs to rest.
