Mt Victoria

Victoria National Park or Nat Ma Taung is a national park of Burma. It is located close to the border with India and features Mt. Victoria, which at 3,035 meters above sea level is the highest mountain in Chin Hill, Chin State, in the western part of Central Myanmar.

We set off early in the morning again up to the foot of the Mt Victoria and from there we trekked  for 5 hrs. The sun was grilling us, the cold wind was chilling us down, and the dust raised by the passing motorbikes bit into our eyes. (The local people wouldn’t walk up for no price or prize).

We conquered the summit, had pre-packed lunch which had been carried up by our guide, relaxed a bit and went down again….

It’s no use writing about the views, one must see them. The details are in the subtitles of the photos.
