Montreal in full sunshine
A Saturday morning. A cloudless sky. Quite chilly (16C), but the sun is promising a very warm day.
The residents of Montreal, tourists, and all the others are out in the streets enjoying extremely warm weather. Here nobody remembers previous such a beautiful end of September.
It’s hard to believe, it can snow here just any time.
We start the sightseeing with Oratory of Saint Joseph – a shrine and pilgrimage destination. Located on Mount Royal it overlooks the city. Endless stairs lead to the high top.
First a glimpse at the administrative and business centre – thus traditional North American sky-scrapers, then a stroll down the Old Port which today serves as a marina for sailing boats and is a place for countless attractions not only for kids: rollercoasters, rope parks, merry-go-rounds and many more.
It was here that ms BATORY used to moor in her voyages between Gdynia and Montreal.
Why don’t you have a look at the sky in our photos: boring – blue all day long.
