Entering Oman

Another tens of kilometers In UAE, where we visit an oasis of date palms and "kiss the handle" of a  closed museum and ... we enter the Omani Sultanate.

First, you have to pay in the Emirates for an exit visa. Formalities take a short time - as long as the cash is agreed, then we apply for the entrance visa at the border of Oman.

And here we go ...

In Al Ayn the tombs looking like beehives are very, very old (does it matter how old?). We eventulally finf them drivin off-roads.

Thaks to out head torches we get up close to admire the beautiful stone built beehives.

Then after a few hours of driving on a gravel road,  at a height of 2500 m,  we get to our resort.

Well, it was at night and we di not seen the abyss which that accompanied the hairpin road!

Strong wind and low (5 C) temperature made it difficult to sleep, but we are experienced tourists and were not are not afraid of anything ...
