Again in Yangon

After the mornings' chill in the Inle Lake area we are getting into the tiring heat of Yangon.

This time we are sightseeing this city in daytime and we conclude that it is an amazing mixture of all the Asian colours, which strongly impact our eyes.

This bustling, noisy, filled with exhaust fumes, and dusty city pounds withs its full life and irresistibly takes us back to the colonial times despite the fact that it hasn't been anybody's colony for a long time.

Before and after the sunset we visited the biggest pagodain Myamar the Shwedagon pagoda.

A huge area which it takes serves the inhabitants not only as a temple but aslo as a recreational place which are rather scarse in Yangon.

Our guide Mr Win tells us not only about the place and its history but also explains to us intricacies of the country's politics which reminds us of  our own from 1970 till 1989. He's looking forward with a great hope to the changes and believes that democracy will be welcomed soon here as well, and the phone SIM cards won't cost 500 USD, for example.
