We've arrived in Kampot

Today was a rather difficult day:

Kamel’s transfer to Kampot. A complicated task for the untrained carriers of untamed kitten who is being torn away from the family.

The minivan had to drive into the house (!) so that the calmed down kitten jumped out and immediately hid in the nooks and crannies. Neither food nor calling made him to reveal his hiding place.

We gave him a break and we got into thorough chores. And they were plenty!

On the big market, we bought a mattress of a huge size and details necessary for it.

The kitchen is also almost ready to serve two hard-working guys.

The biggest problem is with bathrooms (3!). A thorough cleaning is not enough. We will be solving the problem from tomorrow on!

We have “contracted" Mr. LIM - a tuk-tuk driver for our disposal for 4 hours a day. His help is indispensable to make possible difficult purchases and to facilitate moving around in a maze of ways unknown to us dealing with important matters.

Kampot is living its usual rhythm - a bit slow now - off season. At the end of a busy day - a walk through familiar streets and draft beer at 0.50 US (0.3).
