The cats

Today it’s going to be about cats.

Specifically about Kama and Kamel.

I do not think we managed to deal with the mentality of these Asian animals and we could not make friends with either of the two animals.

Kamel used to live in the inhabited house next to us and would come to meals. He would only function only on the upper floors of his and our home. He did not fuss with local cats who preferred the ground and feeding areas of rats ... Kamel sometimes did not show up at all for the whole day, and apparently he would also dine somewhere nearby.

Two weeks ago, local cats drove him out of his quarters and we saw him on the roof of the neighbouring building. He stopped coming to the food. The bowl with his favourite fish remained intact.

Until finally he disappeared forever. He chose his own path ...

Kama was fond of us every evening and eagerly ate what we had prepared for Kamel. She is a she cat kitten who is probably the property of the hotel next door. She would spend the evenings with us.

Unfortunately, we noticed that at the time of inattention, she intensely marked her area in our home, so that in the end the smell became unbearable. It turned out that she was in heat. And it all started ...

We had to quite definitely ask her out from our home.

For a few days she would show off her success with a few males, directly in our driveway. What a slut! Insatiable!

And now she ignores us. She does not visit us, nor does she want anything to eat from us. She must feel offended!

We decided that we would not adopt either her children or any animal at all. We are not suitable for carers of difficult fosterlings!

Local cats are around everywhere here and around our home as well. They should therefore fulfill their role of deterring rodents. And the rats look quite wealthy here.
