Kuta is administratively a district and a town in southern Bali. A former fishing village, it was one of the first towns on Bali to see substantial tourist development, and as a beach resort remains one of Indonesia's major tourist destinations.
It is known internationally for its long sandy beach, varied accommodation, many restaurants and bars, and many avid surfers who come mainly from Australia.
All the above has enormous consequences both positive for the development of the town and extremely negative as the devastating car-motorcycle traffic.
We are located in Seminyak - 15 km from Kuta. The distance can be covered by car in 1,5 hour! This takes the pleasure of going to the town centre and the beach not too well preserved does not compensate the effort.
