A supermarket?

No, we cannot stay a week longer in Kampot, because it can be dangerous to our health!

Our customers of the sale - owners of local restaurants (non-Cambodians), after making a favourable (for them) transaction, insist on having a drink with us.

They pay for the drinks, though. They want to say goodbye, talk for the last time, and have a drink.

Coincidentally, as if they have agreed, they do not come at once, which would allow me to leave them in their company. They come one after another. Every one of them takes us about an hour, that is, we maintain a constant level of alcohol in the blood throughout the day!

In any case, their biographies would be enough for more than one book.

The difference between them all and us is that they are somehow condemned to Cambodia for various reasons in life. They are here with varying results. As for us, we came here of our own choice, not a necessity.

We chose to return to Poland.

PS 1

The local customers are too engaged in the shopping and bargaining, so that thet do not take any interest in having a small talk with us.

The stage of our mini theatre is full of action.

PS 2

One of the British customers (he did not frequent the Chameleon), after a few drinks, said that entering our place he knew that we were gay.

- Why?

- Because your place is too clean!!

    Dziwne zdarzenia miejsce teraz mają,
Nagle wszystkie rzeczy ruchome się stają,
Żeby nie powiedzieć - dostają wprost nogi,
I bez krępacji opuszczają gościnne dotąd progi.
A najdziwniejsza rzecz dopiero się zdarzy,
Gdy progi te opuści też dwóch gospodarzy.
Im nóg nie brakuje, a skrzydeł dostaną,
Kiedy na własnej ziemi znowu staną !
