Time to start being a tourist...

Iwona and Adek declared  that they were ready to start a tourist's life after two days of intense passive rest.

To begin with, it was a beach walk to Sousse* which attracts over a million tourists every year. They are hardly here today. They will be coming in a few days - for the Christmas season.

It's just 3 km away from our hotel, but the wind, big waves and other obstacles on the route have lengthened our path.

The most interesting part of Susa which does not impress because of the huge number of cars, is the medina**, which is the old city limited by an impressive wall.

I will write about the medina later on, as during the first visit there I did not take pictures being embarrassing by photographing the vendors who in a special way urged us to shop. Be patient, it will be fun ...

* Sousse or Soussa (in Berber and Polish: Susa) is a city located 140 km south of the capital Tunis, the city has 271,428 inhabitants (2014). Susa is located in the central-eastern part of the country, on the Bay of Hammamet, which is part of the Mediterranean. Its economy is based on transport equipment, processed food, olive oil, textiles and tourism.

** Medina  - old district of Arab cities, especially in North Africa. There are bazaars, the main mosque and other important buildings here.

Czy jest ktoś, kto mi powie
Czemu sokół siadł na mojej głowie ?
Może myśli mych pięknych pilnuje -
A gdy one ulecą - on też odlatuje ?
