Further on the Central Coast

The famous S6 ends, unfortunately, in Koszalin. So we drive to Słupsk on the old road, which means "bumper to bumper" almost along the entire route.

We see cars from all over Europe.

First, the Museum of Central Pomerania in Słupsk,

Witkacy in the collection of the museum in the White Granary!

The history of the largest collection in Poland and in the world dates back to 1965, in which the museum purchased 110 pastel works (109 portraits and 1 composition) (...)’

Continue on Wikipedia pages! Witkacy in Słupsk.

The excellent exhibition of his paintings  and other painters from the 'around the period' is impressive. We recommend it to all who are interested in the works of this artist, whose plays are more often staged abroad than in Poland!

Słupsk is a beautiful city. We understood what the rivalry between this city and Koszalin is all about. It is a creative competition!

And further to Ustka, although the windy weather, however sunny, is not inviting. Driving on a repaired road again, i.e. an hour needed to travel 30 km!

Ustka (German: Stolpmünde, Kashubian Ùszcz) - a town in northern Poland, in the Pomeranian Province, Słupsk County, the seat of the rural commune of Ustka, in the historic West Pomerania. Ustka is situated on the Słowiński Coast, at the mouth of the Słupia River to the Baltic Sea. It is a port city, a health resort with two summer seaside resorts.

According to data from the Central Statistical Office of Poland from 2020, Ustka had 15,199 inhabitants.

Since July 13, 2003, Ustka and Słupsk have been linked by an agreement called Dwumiast. Both cities are connected by rail and bus transport.’

I don't really understand the phenomenon of spending holidays in a crowd similar to that on a tram on a working day!

People! It is a denial of rest! Crowds in restaurants and around the dunes lining up for ice cream, cotton candy, waffles etc.

We watched the strollers along the promenade, the beach fans sheltering from the wind behind the screens and … enough!

No, no and no more! Beautifully developed Ustka with many green places, is interesting and pretty for sure, but is far from a place where we would like to spend our vacation.

But we understand the needs of the others!

THE POLISH COAST IS THE WORLD'S GREATEST AND FULLSTOP HERE!
