Myth about Daedalus and Icarus

“Daedalus was an artisan artist in the court of the king of Crete, Minos. It was said that Daedalus could breathe life into his statues - they were so perfect. King Minos commissioned Daedalus to make a labyrinth for the Minotaur - a monstrous royal son, half-bull and half-human. Daedalus was not from Crete, he missed his homeland - Athens. However, the king, out of attachment to his friend, and for fear of his knowledge of state secrets, forbade Daedalus to leave the island.
The craftsman figured out a way to escape. He made wings for himself and his son Icarus from bird feathers glued together with wax. Before taking off, the father warned the young boy to fly evenly between heaven and earth, otherwise the wax would either melt or the feathers would become soaked with water. However, Icarus, delighted with the flight, the magnificence of the adventure, forgot about his father's advice, flew too high and fell into the sea when his wings fell apart.

The desperate father found his son's body, called the island Ikaria, and the sea - Icaria. Daedalus stopped in Sicily and became a court builder there. After a few years, King Minos attacked Sicily, claiming Daedalus. However, Minos died in the fight, and Daedalus lived for a long time in the respect of all the inhabitants."

As it turns out, even in antiquity there was a shortage of good craftsmen. And you have to fight for the best!
