The old and new in Katowice
As the Katowice authorities wrote about their city:
"Katowice has changed dramatically over the last 10 years, and there is still no end in sight to these changes. Traces of the city's ancient history are visible at every turn, now in a completely different form. (...)”
Our three-day visit to Katowice, Zabrze and Bytom confirmed these changes and we looked with admiration at the modern architecture integrated into the old urban fabric.
We used public transport a lot and found that communication within Katowice and between Silesian cities is easy and well-organized.
Obviously, the appropriate application provides full information on how to move around this large agglomeration.
A few snapshots from the city show the coexistence of the old and new.
We say goodbye to Katowice satisfied with everything we saw and participated in here.
