Arriving in Phnom Penh

The territorial conflict between Thailand and Cambodia doesn't concern tourist areas, and our (and the world's) mighty benefactor, Trump, guarantees that everything will end well.

The entire trip from Ao Nang to the hotel in Phnom Penh took 10 hours, because these air transfers (despite short flights) take a lot of time.

We traveled from the airport in the Cambodian capital (over an hour) in a tuk-tuk driven by our friend Mr. Vaana. I'll be writing about him later.

The new Phnom Penh airport has been in operation for several months and is making a HUGE impression. It's architecturally interesting, spacious, modern, and passenger-friendly. And we know what we're talking about, after years of air travel.

We first visited Phnom Penh in 2011. And let the city's symbolic feature at that time be the fact that only ONE intersection in the city had traffic lights.

As we were entering the city, we were shooting photos, and let them speak for themselves.
