Towards the South of the USA

From Rockcville, Maryland, where Renata lives (40 km from the capital), we set off to visit the southern states.

850 km, eight hours of driving is nothing new for us. What was new - it was a heavy storm in South Carolina, which appeared to be a hurricane in the other part of the state. It demagaed some buildings. We learned about it from the tv in our hotel when we eventually got to Charlston which was our destination.

It was raining for another couple of hours, so we went for a city stroll at midnight. After coming back to the hotel it turned out to be no Internet due to the hurricane damages.

As of now, some photos of the bridge over the Cooper River.
