From the airport in the northeast, after an hour-long bus transfer, we arrived in Ambaro in the central west of Nosy Be.
We drove first south and then north along the coast, where paved roads, of which there are few on the island, lead.

The VANILA Hotel welcomed us with a local song for the occasion, and we were ready to begin our vacation.
First, a few words and photos of the hotel itself.
Immersed in beautifully maintained greenery, it allows for walks and relaxation in the shade, avoiding the harsh sun and stifling humidity.
In short – it's beautiful, and it will remain so for the rest of our two-week stay!
