Grief - an inseparable element of separation

To conclude our stay, we share with you our most pleasant surprise:

And it was the local travel agency ALBERCIK.

I wrote about him when he was our invaluable guide around the islands. We appreciated his work and the work of the entire team. And in the end, we learned that someone better than us had come along – they commissioned AI to write a song.

I think the result is very good, and for those who know Albert and Madagascar thanks to him, it's even touching.

The Albercik team is learning these words and will soon include the song in their cruise repertoire!

Listen and read!

ALBERCIK

You land, sand greets your feet.

Foreign faces, foreign language too.

Suddenly, someone laughs from under the palm trees.

"Hey, man... how's it going? Come, let me show you the world."

He's wearing a T-shirt with an eagle. A faded print

A cap from Krakow, an old horn

I was born here, he says softly

Nosy Be is my backyard, your ghetto

Albercik from Nosy Be knows every stone

Every shore will tell you in Polish

"Chooooooooood" This is paradise, not a fairy tale

"Chooooood"

Albercik from Nosy Be knows a shortcut through the jungle

Every leaf, he'll take your hand

"Heeeeeeeeeeeeey" and you're staying here for a while

He knows the name of every woman at the market

He haggles in five languages like this

He winks at you, "Try it,"

"Once you try it, you'll want to leave here"

He points to the mountains, the old trees

"Here's where my grandfather taught me how to sing

On the beach, he sits in the shade with you

"I'll tell you a story before the day fades away"

Albercik from Nosy Be knows every stone

Every shore will tell you in Polish

"Chooooooooood" Here It's paradise, not a fairy tale. C'mon.

Albercink from Nosy Be knows a shortcut through the jungle.

Every leaf will take your hand.

Heeeeeeeeeeeee and you're staying here for a while.

Don't ask the map, ask me. Hey.

Every turn here has its meaning.

If you lose time, it's soooo good.

That's what he says, he says it, laughing.

Albercik from Nosy Be knows every stone.

Every shore will tell you in Polish.

C'mon.

It's paradise, not a fairy tale. C'mon.

Albercink from Nosy Be, like a brother, guides you through the day. When you say I'll be back here.

He just nods. I know, again...

Albercik about himself:

I WAS BORN HERE

MADAGASCAR IS NOT A POINT ON A MAP.

IT IS MY HOME.

I grew up between the ocean and the island's red roads.

I know places you won't find in guidebooks.

And people who will open their homes to you.

I won't show you a resort.

I'll show you the real Madagascar.

I'm a local guide on Nosy Be.

I speak Polish.

You don't need a translator.

You don't need a travel agency.

You need someone who truly knows this island.
