A day full of relaxation for body and soul
Despite the weather forecast, a sunny Saturday morning allowed us to take a relaxing stroll through one of Riga's many parks.

The beautifully maintained Victory Park allows everyone to find a place for their favorite activities: running, rollerblading or riding non-electric scooters, doing yoga and other or bigger or smaller group exercises.
Then we visited the Latvian National Library, where numerous cultural events take place on its 12 floors. All of it is free to the public.

To conclude the sightseeing portion of our second day, we strolled through the park by the National Opera.

It was a relaxing day away from the tourist bustle and the very loud male groups of tourists who, in their own way, celebrate enjoying a beer.
Could these be the same people who are flocking to Krakow?
PS
All public transport in Riga, both trams and buses, was and is built by the Czechoslovak, and now Czech, Skoda factory. Throughout the city, you can see both old trams that recall the history of the Soviet occupation and modern ones that are up to date with the times.

I appreciate that continued Latvian-Czech cooperation.
