Forced adaptation
Trapped in a brace (orthosis-type), my mobility is limited for the next 10 weeks.
The orthopedic doctor clearly outlined the treatment requirements for my torn tendon. And there's no appeal!
24/7 the weight on my leg doesn't make even the simplest activities easier, let alone gymnastics during hygiene sessions...
What happens when we feel like going to the philharmonic or opera this upcoming season?
So, we need to address fashion for people with disabilities.
I'll start from the bottom.
An elegant "walker" brace (for walking) looks good, but how do I put on suit pants, for example?

The brace raises me about 8 cm "above sea level." There are no shoes that can eliminate the limping and limping. Walking on crutches on one leg is out of the question.
A partial solution is an orthopedic shoe that compensates for the difference by 5 cm. So the remaining three have to be "made up" by balancing with my hips. Not very comfortable.

The shoe isn't very elegant, although it looks exotic (Japanese or Greek theater).
But I can get around! I'm quite good at it in my apartment.
The crucs aren't graceful and are difficult to operate; maybe a push-forward shopping cart will help with balance. When I get to the stage of leaving the house...

The wheels look trustworthy.
The pants resemble those in cabaret, where the guys take them off with a single yank. Only black pants were available.

Disability develops physical skills that compensate for the resulting deficiencies.
I'll be thinking about winter 2026 fashion soon.
