After the storm, there will be sunshine…

After the storm, there will be sunshine…

I believe everyone feels the same way (or should), and for everyone, after a difficult time, change for the better comes.

After all, optimistic Bollywood movies teach us this through song and dance:

"Toofaan ke baad dhoop zaroor nikalti hai." - After the storm, the sun always comes out.

And that's what's happening for me now:

After a difficult six weeks, burdened by a heavy orthosis (that's the cast of today), I can breathe a sigh of relief and "dress" in its lighter form and a sports shoe with a high heel insert.

And it will be like this for another five weeks, until the doctor looks at his ultrasound screens and makes a decision on what to do next.

I suspect that dancing might not be adisable for me... However, my mobility and ability to see the world outside the home are increasing.

On a wave of optimism and dreams of continuing the summer in greater physical (and other) comfort, we will accept the invitation of our Spanish friends and fly to Málaga on September 29th!

We've been friends with Joti (pronounced: hoti) and Carlos for over thirty years – Madrid natives who have been living in their own newly built house in Torre del Mar (30 km from Malaga) for several months now.

They sent this photo with the caption: "The pool is waiting, don't delay while it's warm."

Our entries from January 1, 2024 illustrate the beginnings of this large-scale construction, and the investment results will soon be visible.

To conclude this optimistic post, we invite you to visit the blog at the end of September.
