Local beauties and fabulous looking young men begin their day at the beach around noon and stay on it till sunset which they all welcome standing and applauding. Or do they thank the sun for another beautiful day?
Both they and the tourists rather quickly gain the mood for drinks and snacks: caipirinha and peanuts is a fixed set. A paradise for the beach vendors who are very numerous and competing with each other loudly advertizing and praising their treats.
Then there’s time for something more specific: hot sandwiches and beer, and maybe grilled cheese, and then time for dessert: frozen fruits in chocolate. Then again, a small alcoholic drink or juice. Delicious.
If someone forgot their bathing suit, a towel, a hat, some cream, etc., I'm sure after a while there will be a vendor and everyone around will be advising on what to buy.
At the beginning it seemed a bit annoying, but after a short time we found it giving colour to the day on the beach.
