As it is typical for a capital city, Hpa-An which is the main city of Kayin state, is a busy place form very early morning hours.
Working hours of the market determine the pace of the day. In the morning one can buy just anything there in amounts from retailing to wholesale.
After dark, however, a busy wholesale trading of vegetables takes place. It is to supply smaller markets in the vicinity.
Wherever we went in Burma, we visited such markets, so we had taken many pictures of the people’s at work and their faces especially.
