Phuket is the biggest Thailand's island an the town of the sam name i miasto o tej nazwie. The islad is on the Andaman Sea.
The interior of the island is mountainious and on the western coast there are many sandy beaches of which the Patong Beach is the most famous one.
The tsunami, which was caused by a very strong earthquake in the Indian Ocean on 26 December 2004 destroyed to a very big extent the touristic infrastructure on the island's coast, taking life of some hundreds people, many foreign tourists among them.
We arrived here yesterday and set off for a night sightseeing of the city part which surrounds the most famous Patong Beach.
I think that we already are well prepared to see things, but the surprise was quite strong.
Thusands (if not more) bars, restaurants, discos, places Tysiące (lub więcej) barów, restauracji, dyskotek, places of omnifarious types of entertainmant are located merely on a few streets, which makes an unknown to us atmosphere of some craziness.
On the one hand, crowds of tourists in presuit of nobody (or everybody) knows what, and on the other hand the service providers hunt for the tourists as if they were not many enough.

Yes, you can put up with this for one night and watch it as a weird attracion but how could you spend a holiday here?
I don't have heart to write bad about the Russions here, but I believe that most of the business here is in their hands. They are simply everywhere. No more comment.
