Myanmar - whatever will be left in our memories

During the flight from Ngapali to Bangkok (we had 3 touch-downs) I asked the participants of the trip for a brief comment on “What will there be left in the memory after the passage to Myanmar.

I think it is worth reading

Here's what they said:

1)

From Yangon through Inle lake, Bagan to the Bay of Bengal: I can recommend to all the hungry to know other cultures and countries.

The people are friendly, the food great (not always corresponding to European standards); and travelling with friends - what more do you need?

Ola (on the day of my name-day)

2)

The monuments against the stunning sunsets. Kind, friendly and smiling residents; in addition co-travellers in raising moods on daily basis. Is it called happiness?

PS. The President (Jacek The Big) – like a father.

 3)

Myanmar - a country of many lands, a variety of climates, landscapes, flavours. A cheerful people everywhere, with a broad smile greeting strangers. I hope it will not change!

Magda

4)

Myanmar…. The country to which I want to go back sometime. I hope soon.

Bogdan

 5)

As an organizer of tourist trips I appreciate this perfect organization.

My first time in Asia - full of exoticism.

A varied program.

Great in all the details!!

Jacek (The Little)

 6)

Above all the people impressed me the most!

Kind, open-minded, willing to help.

Out of the places that we have seen, I hope Inle lake will remain unchanged, as it is now, because it has a unique charm and appeal.

I will definitely return here again sometime during the rainy season or soon after it, to see the green rice fields.

 7)

During this trip (my second one) to Asia, I discovered a completely different world.

Extremely kind local people, disposed to tourists; very religious (crowds in pagodas and temples).

Thanks to the tight-knit group, even the difficult moments could keep the moods.

 Gosia

8)

Beautiful nature, countryside and people.

The next time I can skip the cities. As well as the amok purchasing jewellery, which I contracted from my travel companions.

Ata

 9)

Not spoiled (yet), not too commercialized country of very cordial and easy-going  people who are willing to share their rich history.

A wonderful place for a holiday, both trekking backpacking and "beaching" on deckchairs.

Paul

 10)

Lots of excitement! The head is bursting!

Excellent organization!

Fantastic atmosphere! Great people, who are us!

And wonderfully cheerful people of Myanmar!

Ewa

 11)

Excellent organization of the trip - so many interesting places in 21 days!

14 take-offs and as many landings!

The people are polite, helpful and honest.

The restaurants – a huge variety - from poverty to luxury.

Interestingly, good and sometimes surprising dishes. Not all are as enticing, mainly to the lack of restaurant equipment (eg. dishwashers).

The basis for the improvement of life in this country will be - because it must be - universal education on many levels.

If tourists do not spoil the residents of Myanmar !!

 Olek

 12)

Myanmar. The charming country of lovely people, polite, humble, polite and cordial.

The cuisine. Great potential, but not fully utilized. With the abundance of sea food, exotic vegetables, spices and juicy fruit, one would expect much more. And the hygiene!

The monuments. Both are beautiful: gold plated or made of gold. They cannot be seen in any other Asian country. If only the followers could give up the kitschy embellishments!

An important notice. Fatigue with the bustle, dust and heat of the cities must be soothed on the beaches of the Bay of Bengal!

The religion. People are seen here rather through their spiritualization, not fanaticism which often is dominant in other religions.

Myanmar? I would strongly recommend!

Hania

 13)

I loved everything about it here. And everyone as well.

And in the end me. Called by the Group Jacek The Big, or the President.

Travelling in multi-coloured Myanmar in a large group of multi-coloured characters gave me the opportunity to look at this country again from different points of view.

This journey has enriched my experience, expertise and knowledge.
