Suddenly to Phnom Penh

Sunday. It was supposed to be a day in the shade, with a book, at ease, a day of reflection, summaries and plans ...

Meanwhile, it turned out that everything must be put away and go to Phnom Penh!

Our doctor must extend his visa – if he doesn’t get it in time he can face severe punishment.

I'm going with him to support him and "go crazy" in a big city.

We catch the opportunity, i.e. a minivan filled with piles of boxes. We get in and two more young men. It’s tight, uncomfortable, but cheap. And without air conditioning. The windows are open. The problem comes in the city when the smog breaks in. But only 2.5 USD per person for 90 km. Over 2 hours of the ride!

Thirty minutesn into the journey  I asked Rysio a silly question: You haven’t forgotten your passport, have you?

His immediate answer was: Of course, I have.

There’s so much to do in the capital, anyway! Ha, ha!

A few hours in the city - we loaded our batteries: we drank good beer and a few drinks.

We met our irreplaceable tuk-tuk driver and Phnom Penh guide - Mr Vanna. It is thanks to him that we know and like this city.

I improved my looks at the hairdresser’s at the TOKYO BARBER SHOP.

We went back in the dark in a Toyota Camry - also “an opportunity” - at 5 USD. The travel time was a bit longer - because it was dark!
