Before we set off

It's been over five months  since I left Kampot.

When I came to Poland in mid-March, it seemed to me that we had a very long time in front of us to prepare for our move to Cambodia.

The time has been running out ...

We decided to take our belongings with us, which would allow us to quickly organize our life and planned "business" in Kampot - the bistro and cocktail bar "Chameleon".

Decision making, selection, preparation and final dispatch of relocation property from Szczecin to Sihanoukville - a port in Cambodia - meant many organizational activities other than everyday ones: picking cardboard boxes, necessary shopping to supplement our livestock, packing, packing and once again packaging, lifting, storing, loading, carrying, unloading, etc.

It took over three months and finally, at the end of July, 50 cartons were in the warehouse of the logistics and forwarding company GREENCARRIER. Thanks to the kindness of the head of this branch of the company - Mr. Grzegorz - we packed our cartons into 6 large chests.

The next day, the crates were loaded by a GREENCARRIER employee - Mr. Damian - into a container and it got trasferred to the port in Szczecin.

After customs clearance and the necessary reloading operations, the container sailed off on August 1 on a ship to Asia, via Hamburg.

The ship should reach Sihanoukvilleafter about 40 days of voyage.

We are flying from Berlin on August 29th to Phnom Penh via Bangkok and Kiev.

We have bought two one way tickets.

Let's see if our logistics planning will not fail us ...
