We resume our activities according to the possibilities. We do the indispensable shopping and start the necessary installations. The beginning of November cannot come a surprise for us. Lim keeps saying that we MUST open “the shop" - as he calls our bar - exactly on the first of November, because then, according to him, an avalanche of tourists will start coming.
We laugh a bit, but just in case we're getting ready for the day. It will not be easy, because there’s a lot of work, but even the weather should be generous to us - the temperature and humidity will soon be falling.

It's the whole story with those cats! Kamel disappeared five days ago and he hasn’t been seen since. During the last days he would eat in the kitchen and be happy staying with us, but he’d kept some distance.
At the same time, another cat appeared (evidently a she) which fawns, let us stoke her, and plays around. She eats everything she gets from us. We do not know where she lives, but evidently she has her home somewhere near here. In the evenings, he does not want to leave us, though ...
We gave her a new name: Kama.
There are definitely no mice in the area and the rats do not dare approach our house. This is useful to have cats at a low cost. And a bit of fun at home in the evening. And the evenings are long here, because the night falls suddenly at 18:15.
