The turn has come for the next cartons - this time we unpacked those with textbooks for learning English (about 50 kg), which will go to the ASEAN school - the one we have been supplying with computers and teaching materials for some time.
The sponsors of the books are the Szczecin bookshops "Educatio" and "Polanglo". There will be photos from handing over those textbooks and the next two desktops.
The next cartons contained novels in English, Swedish and Spanish, which will be our mini library for exchange: "take one, leave another". Please do not laugh at the size of this library, it is just to start with, to encourage our customers to leave books already read. We observe that it works in many places.
Finally, our pride - a CD music and movies collection, and a complete set of Shakespeare's plays performed by the BBC theatre. Polish and world music is to create atmosphere in our bar ... And the films will be "flashing" on the TV screen attracting customers?? In many places there are such screen "flashes" without sound. Strange, but it works like that. In our bar there will be no football matches on the TV screen, though!
