Tireless Lim and his tuk-tuk took us to a settlement on the water located in the middle of the mangrove forest.

Mangroves
This settlement fulfills several roles. One of them is recreation on the water in houses on stilts, and the other is to inform visitors about the role of the mangrove forests for the surrounding nature. Still another is to promote the planting of these forests in areas where it would be advisable. We had the opportunity to see the cultivation of such cuttings.
Mangrove forests are home to fowl and most shellfish. The entire ecosystem is strictly protected.
Today, several houses were rented by a local corporation that was integrating their employees. We saw a part of the gift draw.
The presents were surprising (eg. a large box of condoms or some scarf material).
Anyway, everyone was having a great time!
