On the other side

For decades, we had not been to the Oder embankment except for special events such as Days of the Sea (for the preservation of the stereotype of the seaside city!), and sometimes the May Day parades ...

Fortunately, for all of us we had a thriving river port which after the fall left us a beautiful wharfs. Thanks to this, the city was given a river front with nice names Łasztownia and Starowka.

We encourage all non-residents of Szczecin (because we do not need to be encouraged) to see this part of the city, as the summer season favours walking (and not only that) there.

Today, a few photos from „the other side”. And two more from the heart of Szczecin.

Who knows the song: "On the other side of the river, a crow was bathing, the captain thought it was his wife ..." (no rhyme in English, though)

It bothers me how it goes on?
