The early morning heat discouraged me from going cycling. And there is always something to do at home!
A powerful evening storm almost stopped us from going out for dinner with Iwona.
But we managaed, and this time we visited the Italian restaurant Trattoria Toscana on the White Eagle Square.
About this place (the square!) one could write indefinitely, because the square is not lucky as far as the city authorities are concerned, who have no idea how to develop this beautiful area which up to now serves mainly as a parking place!
Well, finally something is cooking!
The city announced a contest and something started to happen:
"The White Eagle Square in Szczecin. It's time to start prototyping. The city presents a plan. The pilot project has already started. There will be the first changes in August and September. Later, after the analysis, the final concept of developing the square is to be presented."(...)
Cars disappeared from the square. That's it for now. And a communist building of the former Polmozbytu still threatens above the Italian restaurant.
