Festivals are competition and a fight for awards. Festivals are emotions!
For us, the Festival was a breath after a long period of cultural drought. In addition to the spiritual impressions, we noticed a generational change in the audience. The average age has dropped significantly, which is a source of joy. One older gentleman didn't raise this average too much, did he?
On Sunday, the results of the competition judged by a professional jury and the most important award - GRAND PRIX AUDIENCE were announced.
The careful reader of our blog will not miss the fact that we did not like the play "Jesus" awarded by the jury.
It was probably too intellectually complicated for us, which we wrote about right after the performance on Monday, 09/06/2021. We want to believe that it was not the big names of Nowy Teatr in Warsaw that influenced the jury's decision!
