Notre Dame still sad

This morning (Saturday) a long walk along the Île de la cité (the heart of Paris).

We thoughtfully watched the reconstruction of the Notre Dame Cathedral, which has been going on for several years and it seems that it will take a long time.

Crowds of tourists, most often in groups, led by chatty guides. French is the least heard ...

Then the Alexander III Bridge:

"Alexander III Bridge - a bridge in Paris built between 1896-1900 and completed for the opening of the World Exhibition. It was named after the Emperor of the Russian Empire, Alexander III Romanov, whose son and successor, Nicholas II, laid the cornerstone for the construction."

And further on to the Champs Elysees, where crowds of tourists proudly walk in the sunshine. And we, just on our way to our hotel!

In Paris, it is enough to be in the city to enjoy life! And here, several million people do it every day!
