The organizers of such events like film festivals are really "screwed up". Either it is the announced actor / actress who do not appear at the meeting for "reasons beyond the control of the organizers", or it s the air conditioning in the cinema hall which "breaks down", or it is a very important movie sent for screening which "gets jammed" and the screening has to be canceled ...
The understanding audience of the festival spiritually supports the organizers and do not complain about such minor adversities.
A slightly less hot day allows for other activities in the festival town.
I had a nice talk with Jowita Budnik (a great, main role in "For Love"). I passed on our opinion about all the actors in the film, and above all about Andrzej Mańkowski's excellent directorial debut.
I did not manage to hide the fact that on the calendar day the 17th of August it's Jacek's name day, so I had to bear the consequences.
Several bands played their music from afternoon until late at night. But the most important musical event was the performance of the group "Pogodno", which commemorated the prematurely deceased leader of this group - Jacek (!) Szymkiewicz, nick name Pudding (born August 17, 1974, died April 11, 2022).
The fans of festival films and other guests who came to the concert enjoyed themselves until dawn.
We finished the day before midnight ...
