Strolling in Torre del Mar

Today we’re walking on the beach and watching how the local inhabitants of Torre delMar relax. Few tourists. And the city prides itself to be "open" all year round!

Andalusia is full of fish and seafood, including anchovies and sardines.

So lunch was according to the local rules.

Today also there is a little about a considerable plague of Spain: the lowland monk parrot.

Just read a bit:

“It is small in size, in nature it has a light olive color, a gray belly, forehead and throat, and blue wing feathers. This is what a modern bomber looks like, terrorizing Madrid, but also other cities, conducting a carpet bombing of Spain. These are parrots in Madrid. Our hero is a parrot called the lowland monk or lowland monk. There are several thousand of them in Madrid, they bombard the city with feces, products that are produced in the cloaca. Well... birds do not store urine and feces separately, but get rid of everything at once, otherwise it would be difficult for them to fly with unnecessary ballast. Therefore, excrement flies onto the streets, balconies, heads of residents, parrots steal vegetables and fruits from stalls, destroy trees, because they are one of the few that do not need a hole to lay eggs, but build heavy and extensive nests of sticks and branches. They are also very noisy, which I experience personally, because there is a pair of monks in my aviary and they make continuous noises as if they were shooting from a machine gun, especially when my neighbor is having a barbecue. Monks also destroy infrastructure because they chew everything. Monk is quite a smartass! I think that if she could, she would be a dealer, she would trade any commodity on a large scale. She is quite self-confident and cheeky, which is why she is able to take over Spanish cities. And don't let her red eye and orange beak fool you."
