French Riviera - Cannes

Cannes is definitely a place known as "must see," even though it's not one of the pearls of the French Riviera.

It achieved its fame thanks to its film festival. And that's why it's incredibly expensive, but not the prettiest...

We wanted to splurge a bit to get a role in a film. But the offers were poor, and we didn't have time to negotiate our fees.

We definitely strolled along the Promenade de la Croisette.

It's a two-kilometer promenade lined with sandy beaches and expensive hotels, restaurants, and shops.

The most important hotel is the Hotel Carlton-Intercontinental  with its  private sandy beach.

We didn't stay there because Nice was awaiting us.

For Nice and Monte Carlo, please wait until tomorrow.
