Port Adriano is a beautifully designed marina on the south west coast of the island.
Instead of a typical "parking lot" for yachts, a visionary architect Philippe Starck has created a beautiful place where one can not only fill up the yachts, but also relax in the charming atmosphere of the bay.
Modernity and functionality do not take away romanticism of the place.
Luxury hotels (adults only, no kids!) surround El Toro bay, and the view from the terraces (apparently!) take a breath away.
It didn’t happen to us because we don’t stay at such hotels ....
New Year Day - dead season, dormant yachts, closed boutiques, and only a few people in cafés for a morning coffee.
