We are still hanging out around the cape Al Had which separates (or links) Gulf of Oman from the Arabian Sea (both belong to the Indian Ocean).
Today we are visiting the beautiful city of Sur and admiring its contemporary architecture. Our attention is drawn by impressive villas / palaces designed and built with great class.
What a pity that most often they are behind high walls (it helps the Arabic family live in peace) but we cannot see them inside. So, this it the local culture ....
The old quarter of Sur remembers the sixteenth century and the reign of the Portuguese.
After a certain incident with a car (more on this in the next entry), we ate dinner at a good Indian restaurant.
