"Our" Angel is located on the top of the mountain. Hence the street name: Góra. From the Market Square we have to overcome 1 km - strongly up and up the mountain.
Several returns home during the day will successfully replace any other physical exercises that would keep us fit!
The way down, mainly when the destination is a nice place with wyszynk*, is easy and pleasant. Well, but one must return to the Angel's embrace some time ...
Last night we went down to say hello to Kazimierz. Walking down to the Market Square, we passed the ruins of the Castle* and the parish church*.
Our destination was the Jatki * on the Small Market Square where technical preparations for the evening film shows will be taking place.
* Wyszynk - a place (inn, pub, restaurant, bar, etc.), where alcoholic beverages are sold, which are drunk at the place of purchase. The name comes from the German word Alkoholausschank, which means the sale of alcohol in a restaurant.
* The Castle in Kazimierz Dolny - a complex of defensive fortifications from the 13th and 14th centuries.
* The parish church of St. John the Baptist and Saint Bartłomiej - built in the years 1586-1589
* Near the synagogue, in the middle of the Small Square, there is a picturesque wooden building of the Jatki the former kosher butcher's.
