I joined a group guided around Kazimierz by a competent guide. The theme of the walk was: Pre-war Kazimierz.
Actually, pre-war Kazimierz does not really exist!
We were moveing from place to place where had originally stood the original buildings, houses, shops, craft workshops, but today there are only old photos left!
So Mr. Guide showed us black and white copies of photos in A4 format, on which from a distance of more than 2 m there was nothing to see!
In spite of the good text that he served us, I could not help feeling that it was not the right way for talking about the history of Kazimierz.
