Shopping in Sousse

Of course, wandering the streets of Medina in Sousse also had other purposes besides enjoying the atmosphere of the Tunisian old town. Iwona - an incurable cat love - did not pass up any opportunity not to "talk" with them, and there are plenty of them everywhere.

These cats are neat, beautiful and do not look hungry. Unfortunately, they don't always want to pose for photos.

By the way: most of the pictures entered here were taken with the permission of the people photographed.

Shopping was another goal. We did not have a long list, but it was impossible to resist shopping when sellers called to view their goods. In Polish!!

To Iwona: "Come, honey, see what you can buy. Cheaper than in Biedronka!"

To me: "Come here, good, good beaver soup!"

And another cries: "Even better hog soup."

Yet another: "Just see. There is no stress. "

They have a well-formed ear and immediately recognize Polish customers and launch their entire Polish language resource in a very fun way. They know Polish cities and Polish names: "Agnieszka doesn't live here" - they shout.

They are not pushy and they do it with a smile.

These small purchases gave us pleasure and we laughed sincerely at the language skills of the Tunisians.
