In the afternoon, our driver took us to a tourist attraction - Port  El Kantaoui (Marsa al-Kantawi or Mina al-Kantawi)*.

Agreeinn with the beelow Wikipedia review below, we point out that it is a kind of tourist trap and artificial creation to meet the needs of rich tourists.

However, the walk was very nice despite the lack of tourists and general emptiness in restaurants. Naturally, we were the target of sellers and waiters who urged us to use their services. In Polish:

"Come, see is f... good here." or "Cool, cool, there is no stress" and even more harschly: "A fly f... a cockroach" and "Thrutututu, a bunch of wire." (impossible to do an exact translation, the oroginals rhyme)

All to make us laugh and stop at a booth or store! Obviously, our compatriots have a specific sense of humor and they like to have fun!

*Port El Kantaoui is a tourist complex 10 kilometres north of Sousse. It was built in 1979 specifically as a tourist center, around a large artificial harbour that provides mooring with 340 berths for luxury yachts, hosting sporting activities from water skiing to paragliding, and several golf courses.

The architecture, although modern and dazzlingly white, has been modelled on the more traditional buildings in Tunisia, complete with narrow streets and arches.

In style, the port area Port El Kantaoui is designed as a white and blue Tunisian style village with reproduced medina quarter and cobblestone streets. It is popular with package holiday visitors, families, and first-time visitors, however, its extensive landscaping and detachment from the true Tunisia bring critics

In 2015, 39 people were killed when a lone terrorist gunman opened fire at two hotels (2015 Sousse attacks). This is the worst attack in the recent history of Tunisia since the Tunisian Revolution of 2010-2011. Most of those killed were tourists.
