Time to say goodbye to Mexican friends and the city of Mexico itself. We are sorry to leave the warm country (the temperature and people!).
Finally, there was a little trouble, because having bought a ticket on the route Mexico - Madrid - Helsinki - Berlin, we cannot stop the journey in Madrid! I mean, we can get off, but the luggage will fly to Berlin! Because there can't be any other way!
An hour's intervention in the airline (with a long wait for a phone call) and smiles and other "softening" methods (without financial ones) at check-in, gave effect and luggage was labelled for Madrid.
Conclusion: Can’t there be the other way? Yes, there can it be! But why to irritate a little some complicated passengers.
Seven hours of time difference slightly disturbed our heads and stomachs, but we could not refuse an invitation to lunch at "our" very morning hour.
But the most important thing is that we feel at home at our Madrid friends’, because we have known each other for such a long time times that there’s no need to count it.
Juan Ramón y José Carlos have a wonderful home and two extremely loving cats who enjoy guests, but are not obtrusive. Of course, both adapted from a shelter.
