KONTRAPUNKT day VII

In the large space of the small stage of the Teatr Mały the non-actor - Romek Zańko and the actor - Paweł Niczewski spontaneously "dialogue" with each other, presenting the work and, in a way, the life of the Szczecin poet, Piotr Gęglawy, affected by Down syndrome.

"And I live very much" is a touching journey through the world created by the Szczecin poet Piotr Gęglawy. A professional Actor and Non-Professional Actor meet on stage to revive the characters and stories described in the poems. We will meet Penguins that teach Angels to fly; Together with Potato we will fall in love with Fat Onion, and with Wolf Adam, who was afraid of being afraid, we will go on a trip to a pet shop. What will result from the collision of such different worlds and sensitivities? Does theater have the power to resurrect those who leave our lives?”

Romek Zańko has been promoting artists known as "disabled" for a long time. By his actions, he proves the deep sensitivity of those artists and promotes the mysterious world of their imaginations.

Today's spectacle touches on its truth about the complicated world of Piotr, about which Romek Zańko - his friend talks about with great feeling, and Pawel Niczewski uses his acting talent to show us how difficult, but not impossible is the way to understand the artist referred to in the performance.
