How to go around Bangkok?

Sighttseeing Bangkok we have experienced all the transportation means and we concluded that we liked "tuk-tuks" the most.

And we had to choose from:

SKY TRAINS (BTS) which are in service in two routs. They are quite frequent - about every

5 minutes. The fares range from 15 bath to 40 bats (1 USD = 31 bath). Excellent transportation means to all the places you need to see in BKK.

BUSES have a very complicated system of their nets varying in colours. They are cheap but slow in the heavy traffic.

METRO (MRT) has one very long route with 16 stations. It interchanges with the Sky Train at three stations. The fares range from 16 to 41 bath.

SAMLORS also known as tuk-tuk, are three-wheeled taxis without a meter. Fares must be negotiated beforehand. They are perfect for shorter trips. They've got great natural wind

air-condition! Recommended after evening/night clubbing.

MOTOR TAXI rides must be also negotiated with the driver prior to the trip. It is more expensive than a tuk-tuk but there's no traffic obstacle for it! One passenger only, naturally.

TAXIS have a fixed meter and carry a sign "TAXI-METER" on the roof. They are relatively cheap and it can cost up to 150 bath for quite a long city ride. Extra tip is always welcome.
